THE FIVE PEAKS OF THE KANCHENJUNGA EXPEDITION

The Kanchenjunga Expedition will take you to the peak of the third highest mountain in the world. Kanchenjunga has an elevation of 8,586 meters. The term Kanchenjunga means “the five treasures of snow” and on the Kanchenjunga Expedition, you could get to the five peaks, four of which are over 8,450 meters. On the Kanchenjunga Expedition, you can also visit the Kanchenjunga Conservation Area which is the Red Pandas home as well as other animals, birds and plants. For the Kanchenjunga Expedition the North Face route is the safest but not necessarily the easiest.

THE KANCHENJUNGA EXPEDITION: AN EXCEPTIONALLY CAPTIVATING CLIMB
The climb on Kanchenjunga Expedition commences from a fascinating base camp in the grasslands with a scenic view at 5,180 meters. The greatest initial challenge is preparing lines up a 900 meter of a complicated bled of climbing up the north col. This is without doubt quite a challenging climb of the Kanchenjunga Expedition. Once you fix the lines on the north col, the Kanchenjunga Expedition can begin in earnest. Next is the process of setting up three camps on the extended and difficult North Ridge. On the Kanchenjunga Expedition Sherpa support and oxygen will assist you in a methodically motion as you make headway higher up the mountain. The Kanchenjunga Expedition is an exceptionally captivating climb for proficient mountaineers.

REQUIREMENT FOR THE KANCHENJUNGA EXPEDITION

The Kanchenjunga Expedition is not as technically demanding although it does have high physical demands. The Kanchenjunga Expedition is perfect for physically strong and experienced mountaineers, or for climbers looking to gain experience for future higher climbs.
