Makalu Trek is definitely quite an adventure that will take you into the heart of the Himalayas. Not many people have had the courage to venture into such territory and Makalu Trek while quite challenging is also a quite marvelous trek in eastern Nepal that leads to the base camp of the fifth highest peak in the world. The Makalu Trekking trail is on a path that was turned into a conservation area and a national park in the beginning of the 1990’s. On the Makalu Trek, you will find the Makalu Barun National Park, which is an expansive and uninhibited area.
