THE MYTHOLOGY OF THE HALESI MAHADEV TEMPLE

The first cave, located near the temple, features a representation of Lord Shiva and is known as Haleshwar Mahadev. The second cave contains a representation of Nandi, Lord Shiva’s sacred vehicle.
