Tamang Heritage Trekking expeditions are meant to help tourists to understand the cultural traditions of the tribes that they meet with in Tamang. Tamang Heritage Trekking expeditions also contribute to the financial prosperity of the Tamang region. Tamang Heritage Trekking expeditions were initially conducted by the villagers of Tamang. The villagers, who reside in the areas that flank the Tamang Heritage Trekking would cater to the comforts of visiting climbers. Soon, the walking enthusiasts who heard about the Tamang Heritage Trekking expeditions began to visit the area just to experience the hospitality of the villagers.
